Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Smart4Talent Skills Academy collects when you use skills.smart4talent.com, why we collect it, and how we protect it. It applies whenever you submit the application form, request a callback, or pay for a program.

1. What we collect

We only collect what we actually need to process your application, confirm a seat, and contact you. This is exactly what our forms ask for — nothing is collected silently in the background.

Making a payment	Payment is handled by Razorpay; we receive only the payment status and a payment reference ID, never your card or bank details
Browsing the site	Standard technical data such as IP address and browser type, used only for security and to keep the live seat counter accurate

2. Why we collect it

• To process your application and confirm whether a seat is available in the current batch.
• To contact you by phone, WhatsApp, or email about your application, payment confirmation, or program updates.
• To create your student account after a successful payment, so you can access your program dashboard without setting a password in advance.
• To meet our legal and tax obligations, including issuing GST invoices and maintaining payment records as required under Indian law.
• To improve the program using aggregated, non-identifying information such as which programs are most applied to.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the following parties, and only as needed to run the service:

• Razorpay — to process your payment securely. Razorpay has its own privacy policy governing the payment details you enter on its checkout screen.
• Supabase (our database and authentication provider) — to store your application and account data securely.
• Hiring partner companies — only if you are enrolled in a program with placement support, and only the information relevant to your candidacy (such as your resume and performance summary), shared as part of helping you get placed.
• Government or regulatory authorities — only where required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request.

4. How long we keep it

If you only request a callback or submit an application but never enroll, we keep your contact details for up to 12 months to allow our admissions team to follow up, after which they are deleted unless you ask us to delete them sooner. If you enroll and pay, we retain your records for as long as required under Indian tax and education-record-keeping law, and as needed to support alumni verification of your certificate in the future.

5. Your rights

• You can ask us what personal data we hold about you.
• You can ask us to correct inaccurate information (for example, a misspelled name or wrong phone number).
• You can ask us to delete your data, except where we are legally required to keep payment or tax records.
• You can withdraw consent to be contacted for marketing purposes at any time by replying "STOP" to any WhatsApp message or emailing us.

6. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to remember that you've accepted our cookie notice and to keep the site working correctly across pages. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this Platform.

7. Security

Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure with row-level security rules that ensure only you (once logged in) or our authorized staff can access your records. Payment processing happens entirely on Razorpay's secure, PCI-DSS-compliant systems — we never see or store your card number, CVV, or net-banking password.

8. Children's privacy

Our programs are intended for applicants aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without the involvement of a parent or guardian.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our programs or tools change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. We encourage you to review it occasionally.
